Haywood Road Pet Motel Rules

Any dog requiring a rabies or distemper vaccination must be seen by a vet before vaccines can be administered. An exam is no long an option, it is a requirement for the safety and well-being of your pet. Vaccines cannot be given on Saturdays. Pets need to be examined on Friday prior to your pet boarding on a Saturday.

Beginning July 1st, you must provide proof of a negative fecal before the pet is allowed to board or be groomed. If a dog is not up-to-date on vaccines and you cannot provide a negative fecal result from within the current year, your pet will not be able to board or be groomed. We are happy to answer any questions you may have to help you with these requirements.

The Haywood Road Pet Motel rules also include the following::

  • Dogs must be currently vaccinated for Rabies, Distemper, and Bordatella* (Kennel Cough)
*Bordatella is required every six months.
  • Cats must be currently vaccinated for Rabies and Distemper.
  • Those not current on vaccinations will be vaccinated at owner's expense.
  • Baths are required for dogs before going home. They will be given at owner's expense.
